Formerly a secondary school teacher, over the latter years retirement has allowed Sharon the time to put into practice her lifelong passion for the visual Arts.Within the very supportive atmosphere of Gae’s Art Group, she has been encouraged to explore the possibilities of paint and other media. Sharon consciously chooses to work with a bright palette as she feels colour is always her main inspiration. Interpreted in an expressive and often abstract way, subject matter is drawn from a wide variety of places and experiences.
